Sunday School

Our Sunday School serves to foster the spiritual growth, liturgical studies, and personal wellbeing of our children. We strive to help them develop their understanding of the faith, practices, order, and discipline of the Malankara Orthodox Church as well as develop greater understanding in the Holy Scriptures. Under the leadership of Vicar & President, Rev. Fr. Joel Mathew, Principal, Johncy George, Sunday School Secretary, Nimal Zachariah, twenty dedicated teachers, and more than 60 children; the activities of the Sunday School association continue to prosper.

Our Sunday School classes take place Sunday Morning from 8:30 AM - 9:15 AM. Pre-KG through 4th Grade conduct classes in the Church while 5th through 12th Grade conduct classes in our M.G.M. Auditorium. In addition to teaching children about the faith and practices of our Church, we strive to teach them about giving to those less fortunate than ourselves. Through various charity projects conducted throughout the year, our children learn the value of giving back to the community. It is through these efforts that we believe our children will continue to grow and prosper within the church.
