About FOCUS

The Fellowship of Orthodox Christians in the United States (FOCUS) is a ministry of the Diocese of South-West America created to provide a community for post-college adults and young families to navigate the Orthodox faith in America. It offers opportunities to strengthen its members' relationships with the Holy Trinity through service, worship, and learning experiences. One such opportunity is a biweekly faith education series titled "13th Grade," an open discussion form tackling relevant issues led by our Vicar or one the members.

The Mission of FOCUS

FOCUS's mission is to empower members to overcome obstacles that Orthodox Christians face in daily life, especially following formal schooling. As an organization, we aim to support, connect, and encourage each other as we grow together in Christ's love while remaining active in all aspects of the parish community.
